Penetrating into the essential feature of the documents an d analysing the essence of library activities, I should come to a conclusio n that the storage and out-put of knowledge are the essential feature of a libra ry. I think we can use “the ideas of storage and out-put of knowledge 'to probe into the object of study of library science.
