This paper analyses and inquires into the problem about how to handle the relations between text contents and language skills in discourse terching ,that is to grasp the drilling of language skills from thxt contents and,puts forward that we should put the forstering of the abilities of reading and transtating on the first place and important plact,and at the same time.we should give consideration to the fostering of the abilities of listening,speaking and writing in the Engilsh discourse teaching of colleges.
