基于WDM技术的未来光传输网络

摘要 讨论了光技术的潜在用途并确定它们在基础传输网功能中的基本任务 .实践证明 ,光层的引入不仅在传输能力和路由节点的吞吐量上同时带来巨大飞跃 ,而且允许不同信号格式和协议的有效融合 .文章给出了大容量 WDM系统的传输能力 ,讨论了光纤放大器和非线性效应的影响 .最后阐明了实现可靠通信所需的技术 。 Discuss the potential applications of optical technologies and identify their fundamental roles in basic transport network functions. It is demonstrated that the instruction of optical layers not only offers quantum leaps in both transmission capacity and routing node throughput simultaneously, but also allows effective accommodation of different signal formats and protocols. Next, the transport capability of large capacity WDM system is shown, and the effect of fiber amplifiers and nonlinearity is discussed. Finally, the technologies needed to realize reliable communication is clarified, and the optical network protection strategy is discussed.
