Development of Xiangfan Small Town :Motive Factors and Mode

“小城镇、大战略”是我国城市化的一项重大方针。襄樊小城镇的崛起是党的十一届三中全会以来正确的政策、实行以家庭联产承包为主的责任制和统分结合的双层经营体制及农村商品经济相互作用的结果。襄樊小城镇的发展以自身的资源条件为基础 ,走出一条不同于苏南模式、温州模式的小城镇发展之路 ,开创了一条以农副产品和资源加工、交易为主体的小城镇发展新模式。

It is a urbanization important guideline to develope township in China .The motive factors that Xiangfan small twons develop rapidly include three perspectives as follow:1)A series policies have been implemented correctly since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Chinese.2) Rational management structures have been put into effect , such as , the united-decentralized dual management structure .3) Rural commodity economy has been developed rapidly. The development mode of Xiangfan town ,which is mainly based on the pressing and trade of agricultural products and natural resources , is different from Shunan and Wenzhou modes.
