生态学马克思主义对由资本主义社会的基本矛盾引起的危机表现形式作了重新考察 ,并分析了资本主义社会生态危机的根源 ,力图寻找一条既能解决生态危机 ,又能实现社会主义的新道路。生态学马克思主义理论是西方马克思主义对当代全球问题和人类发展困境的哲学思考 。

Ecological Marxism, based on its new approach towards the new form of display of the crisis caused by the fundamental contradictions in capitalist society, makes a further analysis on the rootcause of ecological crisis in capitalist society, and tries to find a way which will both solve ecological crisis and realize solialist ideals. Ecological Marxism is a philosophical approach of Western Marxists on contemprary global problem and dilemma in human development. Its theory certainly will shed some light on us our study on protection of ecological environment in developing west China.
