This paper introduces the application of least square method in the linear treatment for thermal potential\|temperature character of thermocouple, and deduces formula for thermocouple temperature measurement. Based on these formula, the linear treatment of K thermocouple in temperature of 0~1400 ℃was given. The nonlinear error can be controlled under 1%with this method.
