This article presents the current status and the prospects of Chinese gas turbine market. It reveals the attached benefits of combined cycle with living examples, and further discusses the effects of temperature and atmospheric pressure taken on combined cycle as well as its impact against the environment. The construction of a combined cycle plant involves not only the gas turbine but also the price of fuel. Too high price of natural gas applied to power generation will probably become the main obstacle to the development of gas turbine.
