The determination of convection heat exchange factors constitutes a major element in the heat transfer performance test of heat exchangers. So far as plate heat exchangers are concerned, Equal Reynolds Number Method can be considered as a fairly appropriate one. However, there is a little difficulty in the application of the Method. The present paper describes a modified Method Equal Velocity Method. The control of test process is more convenience with the modified Method. Detailed uses of the modified Method are introduced through an instance. Tables 2 and refs 4.
