摘要
本文通过对一维和二维乳腺图象信号的实验分析 ,提出了利用小波变换实现微细钙化点图象增强与提取的方法 ,即通过选择适当尺度的细节子图组合进行合成 ,得到对比度增强的钙化点图象 ;再经过阈值处理 ,提取出钙化点。根据本文方法对实际的乳腺X光片进行了实验 。
We proposed an image enhancement and detection method for microcalcifications in digital mammograms, based on wavelet transformation and thresholding. The enhancement of microcalcifications was achieved by selecting the coefficients within distinct levels of scale space to make microcalcification more obvious. The thresholding was used to distinguish the microcalcifications with background. The method was tested on 42 images, with and without microcalcifications, and results showed the proposed method was suited for the enhancement and segmentation of microcalcifications.
