On the Nature of “the Heaven” of Materialism in Mencius' Thought

“天”历来被认为是古代唯心主义思想中的重要范畴 ,人们据此认为孟子的哲学思想也是唯心主义。然而 ,仔细推敲《孟子》中有关“天”的论述文字可以看出 ,孟子思想中的“天”不仅不能证明它是唯心主义 。

The Heaven” is considered as the important catogroy of ancient classic idealism.The Mencius' philosophy thought is also held as idealism.It is,however, to examine carefully the essays on “the Heaven” by Mencius,“the Heaven” in Mencius' thought is not only idealism proved but also the factual ideology of Materialism reflected.
