抗日战争时期 ,是大后方民营企业家开始民主觉醒的重要阶段。大后方民营企业家的民主觉醒 ,是以周恩来为首的中共中央南方局审时度势、创造性地开展统战工作的必然结果 ,是中国共产党关于民族资产阶级理论和政策的重大胜利 。

The Anti\|Japanese War period was the important stage when the private enterprisers in the rear area began to be democratically awakened. The awakening resulted from the timely and creative work for the Unity Front down by the Southern Bureau of the CPC Central Committee under the leadership of Zhou Enlai.
