摘要
地名是文化的载体 ,不同来源的居民都会在地名上留下自己所操语言或方言的印记。本文对海南 1 9个县市的自然村名进行了全面的考察 ,找出海南汉语各方言共有的地名常用字和海南闽语特有的地名用字 。
As carriers of culture,place names always bear the imprints of specific languages or dialects spoken by inhabitants of diverse origins. Through a thorough investigation of village names in nineteen counties and cities across Hainan,this paper has listed the common words for place names shared by Hainan Chinese dialects and those peculiar to Hainan Minnan dialect.Besides,the paper attempts to probe into Minnan dialect distribution in Hainan from the perspective of the distribution of the words for place names.
