近代中国不缠足思潮 ,肇始于 1 9世纪末的戊戌维新时期。维新人士从多方面抨击缠足 ,力倡天足 ,并身体力行 ,笃诚实践 ,推动了不缠足思潮的产生。戊戌不缠足思潮是在尖锐复杂的社会环境中产生的 ,对近代中国的社会文化结构造成巨大冲击 ,对正在兴起的妇女运动也产生了深远的影响 。

The anti-foot-binding ideas of modern China commenced in Wu-xu(1898) Period at the end of nineteeth century.The Reformers lashed out against foot-binding in many aspects,advocated natural feet ,and earnestly practised what they advocated to push forward the anti-foot-binding ideas.It's in sharp and complicated social environment that the anti-foot-binding ideas formed.They made immense impact on the social and cultural sturcture of modern China and had profound effect on the women movement in making .However there in them exist some limitations that can't be covered.
