摘要
基于Mallat塔式算法的二维图象离散小波变换本质上是一种全局分解 ,能同时提供图象在边缘区、平坦区及各尺度下的图象信息 .本文讨论了二维图象正交小波变换分解中的边界处理、小波基类型及长度选择、分解层数等重要技术问题 .实验结果表明 。
The discrete wavelet transform of two dimensional images,based on Mallat's pyramidal alogrithm, an essentially global decomposition,can simultaneously offer image messages in edges,trends and all scales.This paper discusses the choice of wavelet bases,boundary handling,decomposition layers and other important technical questions.The result of experiment indicates that the coding scheme of image progressive transmission based on these properties is effective.
