摘要
采用自由基胶束共聚的方法制备了一系列水溶性疏水缔合丙烯酰胺 /N 烷基苯基丙烯酰胺 (BBAM )共聚物(PABA) ,研究了共聚物溶液的性质及影响因素。结果表明 ,随共聚物溶液浓度的增加 ,在临界缔合浓度以上 ,分子间缔合大量形成 ,水溶液表观粘度迅速增加 ,表现出明显的疏水缔合行为。与HPAM相比 。
The titled polymers are prepared from acrylamide(AM) and N alkylphenylacrylamide(BBAM) through radical micellar polymerization in aqueous media. For four copolymer samples denoted as PABA 1, 2, 3, and 4 with BBAM content 0.1,0.2,0.5, and 0.7 mol%, respectively, [ η ] values and Huggins constant K H values in 1 mol/L NaNO 3 aqueous solution at 30℃ are determined and the apparent viscosity concentration relationship in distilled water and in 0.342 mol/L NaCl aqueous solution at 25℃ and 19.2 s -1 is constructed; the apparent viscosity in distilled water as influenced by inorganic salts(NaCl and CaCl 2) and surfactant(SDS) added and by shearing at different rates(5—100 s -1 ) over 10 minutes are also investigated for one or other copolymer in every case. The experimental results obtained are discussed in terms of hydrophobical association. It is shown that ①the apparent viscosity of copolymer solutions increases notably with increasing copolymer concentration above a critical value;②the higher the BBAM content in a copolymer, the more the enhancement in viscosity of its solutions; ③PAPB copolymers are tolerant to salts.
