Two New Species of Acanthobothrium from Marine Fishes in Xiamen, Fujian, China (Cestoda: Tetraphyllidea: Onchobothridae)

报道厦门海域软骨鱼类感染四叶目瘤槽科绦虫两新种 :多睾钩槽绦虫 Acanthobothriumpolytesticularis sp nov.和巨首钩槽绦虫 Acanthobothrium macrocephlum sp nov.。

Two new species of Acanthobothrium collected from marine fishes in Xiamen, Fujian,China are reported. The type specimens deposited in Parasitology Research Laboratory, Xiamen University. All measurements are given in millimetre unless otherwise stated. Acanthobothrium polytesticularis sp nov. Scolex composed of four triloculate bothridia each armed with pair of bifid hooks and surmounted by apical sucker and pad. Bothridia 1.540~1.990 (1.772±0.120) long by 0.980~10180 (1.043±0.060) wide. Apical sucker 0.156~0.218 (0.200±0.018) in diameter. Hook handle 0.081~0.115 (0.101±0.010) long, inner prong 0.155~0.181 (0.169±0.080) long, outer prong 0.150~0.181 (0.157±0.010) long, total hook 0.244~0.282 (0.267±0.015) in length. Cephalic peduncle 12.150~16.725 long. Mature proglottids longer than wide, 1.600~2.080 (1.754± 0.150 ) long by 1.005~1.635 (1.361±0.261) wide. Genital pores 36.1%~42.9% of proglottid length from posterior end, irregularly alternating. Testes oval, 208~228 in number per segment. Cirrus pouch 0.370~0.434 (0.408±0.022) long by 0.262~0.294 (0.278± 0.012 ) wide, containing spined eversible cirrus. Ovarian arms equal. Vitellaria finely follicular, extending on each side along outer boundary of testes. Acanthobothrium macrocephalum sp nov. Scolex 2.705~3.950 (3.271±0.544) long by 3.150~4.845 (3.758±0.746) wide, composed of 4 triloculate bothridia. Each bothridium with a apical sucker and a pad, armed with a pair of bifid hooks. Bothridia 1.405~2.275 (1.850±0.301) long by 1.120~ 2.020 (1.683±0.272) wide. Hook handle 0.080~0.103 (0.088±0.007) long, inner prong 0.061 ~0.087 (0.075±0.007) long, outer prong 0.033~0.045 (0.037±0.004) long, total hook 0.107~0.135 (0.120±0.008) in length. Mature proglottid wider than long, 0.490~ 0.880 (0.683±0.150) long by 2.105~2.800 (2.454±0.277) wide. Testes 0.089~0.114 ( 0.097 ±0.007) long by 0.061~0.097 (0.081±0.012) wide, 124~145 in number. Genital pore 59.6%±4.2% of proglottid length from posterior end, irregularly alternating. Ovarian arms equal.
