Performance computational analysis for LP section of Shajiao Power Plant's 300MW steam turbine operating under low volume flow condition is conducted, using the computational software package for thermal and pneumatic characteristics of high power double reheat steam turbines as well as the computational program for low volume flow (field) and pneumatic characteristics of LP section. The prediction results of the causes of the final stage stall are of referential value for peak and cyclic load operation. Figs 9, tables 2 and refs 6.
