It was very important to reduce conte nt of combustible matter in flying ash for enhanc-ing efficiency of the boiler.An analysis was made on causes of high conten t of combustible matter in the flying ash of the Generati ng Plan t of Taiyuan Iron &Steel company.Imp roving measures were giv-en for coarse powder separators and b urners.
