The present situation and development trend of light coated newsprints

本文通过西方发达国家造纸商在20世纪80年代以来改造中小型新闻纸机，生产机内整饰涂布纸，及20世纪90年代末期利用维美德公司Opti优化概念纸机生产冷固胶印涂布新闻纸的实例，介绍了西方发达国家造纸商生产两种主要轻涂新闻纸(机内整饰涂布纸和冷固胶印新闻纸)的现状及未来发展趋势。

The paper introduces the examples that paper makers in the western countries produce machine finished coated newsprints through rebuilding small and middle newsprint machines since the 1980s and that they produce cold-set offset newsprints with the'new Valmet optimum concept machines'since 1990s. And on this basis, the present situation and development trend of two major light coated newsprints, i.e. machine finished coated newsprints and cold-set offset coated newsprints in the western developed countries are presented.
