小城镇在城乡一体化中的作用

城市体系的完善在中国城乡一体化道路中十分重要 ,迅速发展起来的小城镇是城市体系中的重要结点。由于它的特殊位置———城之尾、乡之首 ,能真正起到联系城乡的重大作用 ,而以大城市为中心、中小城市为骨干、小城镇为基础的多层次城镇居民点体系的形成等等 ,均使小城镇的不断壮大成为了必然 ,更在城乡一体化中起到了不可替代的作用。在分析了小城镇作为增长极的六大特征后阐述了小城镇以增长极的身份在城乡一体化过程中起到的重大作用 ,为小城镇在新时期进一步发挥其功能起到了一定的指导作用。

Perfecting city system is very important in the integration of city and countryside in China. The small town, which is developing rapidly,is an essential cross in the city system. Because of its special location——the end of the city and the beginning of the countryside,it really plays great function of connecting city and countryside. It is the compliment of multi layer city system with the big cities as the core,the middle cities as the prompt and the small towns as the basis, which makes the expand of small town inevitably.Moreover it plays an unsubstituted function in the integration of city and countryside. After analysis of the characters of the small town as growth pole,puts forward the great function of small town as “pole” in the program of integration of city and countryside. It guides small town to play further function in the coming years.
