珠江三角洲经济区行为主体特征分析

AN ANALYSIS OF THE FEATURES OF BEHAVIOR SUBJECTS IN THE PEARL RIVER DELTA ECONOMIC ZONE

利用基本单位普查资料 ,采用定量方法 ,分析了珠江三角洲经济区行为主体的发育、结构和地域特征 ,并讨论了形成这些特征的主要原因 ,认为其反映了珠江三角洲经济区在中国的典型性和独特性。

A behavior subject of economic area is an organization entity, its form may be a setup, a firm or a family with a certain sense in economic output. Through quantitative analysis method based on the data of the first basic unit census in China(1996) , the features of behavior subjects in the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone are analyzed. 1) Development features: The number of behavior subjects in the zone is large accounting for 58.86% of the total in Guangdong Province; organization form is characterized by its diversification and primary feature. 2) Structure features: the scale of the subjects is mostly small, the average level of basic unit strength is 18.89 persons/unit, average level of output is 1141.2 thousand yuan/unit; the proportion of collective-owned and private enterprises is the biggest in all kinds of the ownership. 3) Regional features: there is an outstanding regional difference in the amount of behavior subjects, and the spatial features of the institutional units and establishments are similar, the density of basic units in Shenzhen and Guangzhou is higher than that in other city. Those features show that the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone is a representative and unique region in China for its higher level of development, less yoke of old planned economy, to keep and keeping one step ahead in new market economy.
