本文介绍软件工具发展的历史,讨论工具的分类和集成问题。随后讨论采用软件工具时应采取的策略和工具的发展趋势。最后,将软件工具分成八类进行简要的评述。
Software tools have evolved rapidly and been playing an increasingly important role in software development. The paper starts with its history, discusses the issues of its classification and integration, and also covers the adoption strategy, and trends in the next few years. Finally, it gives comments on the tools divided into eight classes.
