基质金属蛋白酶与肿瘤侵袭和转移研究进展

肿瘤的侵袭和转移是恶性肿瘤的主要生物学特征 ,也是影响治疗结果和预后的重要因素。近年研究发现基质金属蛋白酶能促进肿瘤细胞的侵袭和转移 ,引起学术界广泛关注。该文主要从基质金属蛋白酶在肿瘤转移中的作用、基质金属蛋白酶活性的调节以及基质金属蛋白酶抑制剂的应用前景方面综述了基质金属蛋白酶与肿瘤侵袭和转移的最新研究进展。

Invasion and metastasis are the distinct biological characterstics of cancer. They are the key factors influencing tumour patients' theraputic effect and prognosis. Recent study shows that metalloproteinases can facilitate tumour cell invasion and metastasis. In this review we evaluate the novel aspects of the function of matrix metalloproteinases in tumor invasion and metastasis. The regulation of the expression and activity of MMPs are summarized. The potential clinical application of metalloproteinase and their tissue inhibitors were also presented.
