In 90's, parallel processing is one of the important development in computerscience. This article introduces the development of multiprocessor systems and demands forUNIX operating system, analyses the design and programming method of parallel UNIXfor supporting multiprocessor base on RTU operating system, discusses the new features ofdeveloping real time UNIX on a multiprocessor system.
