摘要
远程过程调用(RPC) 是网络互连的计算机之间的一种高层通讯机制。它以用户熟知的过程调用为用户提供了方便的通讯和资源共享手段,并已广泛用于分布式系统及网络文件系统中。本文通过对一个RPC系统的具体实现的描述与分析,阐述了设计与实现RPC时所涉及的一些关键问题。
The Remote Procedure Call (RPC) is a high-level mechanism for commu-nication between processes in different computers across networks. It provides an easymethod for communication and resource sharing by the well known procedure calls, andhas been widely used in distributed systems and network file systems (NFS). In this paper,we describe and analyse the implementation of the RPC in Masscomp RTU, and addresssome key issues in designing and implementing RPCs.
