清政府军事战略失策与马江惨败

The Strategic Error of Qing Government and the Crushing Defeat of the Majiang Battle

在中法马江之战中 ,中国的福建舰队几乎全军覆没。事后 ,人们总结失败原因 ,多从战术上着眼。而笔者认为应该从清政府的战略失策去寻找原因。指挥马江之战的张佩纶等人 ,将清政府轻视法国侵华海军的战略失策 ,变为具体的战术失误 ,即将原来散处各地的福建舰队的弱舰集中到马江与法方的强舰相峙 ,结果成了法舰的靶子 。

In the Majiang Battle between China and France, Chinese Fujian Sea Fleet was almost annihilated. People always summed up the causes of the defeat from the military tactics later on, but in fact, the reasons for defeat should be found from the strategic error of Qing Government. Zhang Peilun and his partner commanders turned the Qing Government's strategic error of looking down upon the France Navy into the fault of military tactics. So the poor naval ships of Fujian Sea Fleet were got together to Majiang to stand facing the powerful France Fleet and resulted in the crushing defeat for being the target.
