摘要
本文简要介绍了近２０年来西方社会心理学围绕自我尊重以及个人公开形象保护策略所做的探讨。这些研究主要包括对自我不一致、自我意识与自我觉察以及自我提高与自我保护方式的理论探讨与实证研究。
The approaches of self esteem and defense of personal public image in western social psychology in the recent twenty years are simply introduced in this article. The approaches involve mainly the theories and experimental researches of self discrepancy, self consciousness, self awareness, self enhancement and self defense. The discussion of the theories and the researches will advance the approaches to the questions of self esteem in China.
