比较诗学理所当然是一门内容广博的学科。对这门学科研究的任何努力都免不了要求研究者能够对众多方面作出高深的阐释。本文评论的是比较诗学所阐释的两点：即作者对令人满意的概念和实实在在的比较与以建立在详实史料基础上的诗学（ 文学理论） 。文章所遵循的先后次序。
Comparative poetics is, by its nature, an extensive, complex subject. Any effort to address the subject makes grand claims. All that is argued, and it is quite enough, is that comparative poetics requires two things: a satisfactory conception and practice of comparison along with an attention to poetics ( conceptions of literature) that rests on sound historical evidence. The route followed here is based on what can be inferred from the three genres conceptually and historically.
