The culture of the Three Kingdoms is rooted in the three historic cities along Hanjiang River: Hanzhong, Nanyang, and Xiangfan. Zhuge Liang inherited and developed the culture set forth by Liu Bang and Liu Xiu in Hanzhong and Nanyang, and planned the separated reign of China in three parts. These cities are not only the focus and hot spot of struggle of the three kingdoms, but also the center of talents and culture. This abundant legacy of the three kingdoms makes the cities along Hanjiang River of historic cultural and tourist cultural significance.
