China's Point of View and Countermeasures on Global Warming

全球变暖涉及全球每个人乃至后代人的福利。本文首先概述了国际社会关注全球变 暖的进程和中国关于全球变暖的一些研究。然后，深入地讨论了中国在发展战略选择、提高 能源效率与控制CO2排放量增长的速度、改善能源结构与开发新能源、植树造林、控制人口 等方面的对策以及由此带来的能源弹性系数的大幅度降低。最后，讨论了有助于应对全球变 暖的几个核心问题。

Global warming concerns the welfare of every human being and even fu ture generations. The paper briefly describes the history of global concern for global warming and relevant scientific research by China. Then, it describes in detail the countermeasures taken by China in selecting development strategy opti ons, promoting energy structure and efficiency, controlling the growth rate of C O2 emissions, developing new energy sources, planting trees and forests, as well as controlling the population. The drastic decrease of energy elasticity coeffi cient as a result of these measures is also discussed. At last, the paper touche s upon a few key issues that could help better tackle global warming.
