This paper gives an intensive introduction of a complete set oftunnel construction techniques which has been successfully applied to leng-long-ling tunnel engineering. The tunnel project, lies in a tableland of more than 3400m in elevation, has a small section of no more than 10m 2 , a length of 8866m(including of 6000m of boring length in one direction).Based on such geographical conditions, the tunnel construction techniques has been developed to solve a series of problems including mechanical device's configurations, tunnel ventilation facilities, improving oxygen supply, electric power supply, water supply, labor sanitation and protection and so on. it suggested that this techniques may have a leading role in construct on of long tunnels with small section especially freezing plateau.
