The cause of unsucessful adjustment of Sino American relationship upon liberation is analysed. The purpose of American policy towards China is opposite acutely to Chinese national benefit. American often slipped up in specific policies to China. The international cold war situation escalated the Sino American relationship. The domestic anti communist and anti China tide in America severely affected the decision making of American government. These factors led to the failure of efforts to improve Sino American relationship. The war broke out at last between China and America in Korea battlefield.
