城市林业具有功能的多样性、主体性、综合性及系统效应的特征。城市林业的主要任务是建设城市绿色环境 ,发挥城市绿色经济 ,培育城市绿色文化 ,促进城市社会、经济可持续发展 ,这是城市园林和传统林业所不可比拟的。建设城市林业必须注意 6个方面的技术体系 :一是环境性技术体系 ;二是观赏性技术体系 ;三是保健性技术体系 ;四是生物多样性技术体系 ;五是生产性技术体系 ;

The city forestry possesses the features of functional diversity,principalness and comprehensiveness as well as systematic effect.The main tasks of city forestry are to construct the city green environment,give full play to the city green economy,rear the city green culture,and promote the sustainable development of city society and economy,to which the city garden or the traditional forestry is incomparable.Constructing the city forestry must pay attention to six technique systems:the environmental technique system,ornamental technique system,health technique system,biodiversity technique system,productive technique system,and cultural technique system.
