Origin of Chinese Calligraphy

书法形成经过了一个错综而漫长的过程，在这一过程中存在着相互关联的二重性格： 书写与文字、象形与刻划、原始与时代、神性与人性，并衍生出三个阶段：原始文字的实用 工艺性阶段、文字装饰阶段、高级的纯线条艺术阶段，这些性格与阶段皆与华夏文化相契合 。

Chinese calligraphy was formed through long and complex process. There are some couple-character: writing and characters, graphic and inscription, p rimitive and times, godhood and humanity in this process which is divided into three-section: characters created, characters decorated, calligraphy art. The couple-character and three-section are connected with Chinese traditional cu lture.
