研究当ｎ≥４时强阻尼非线性波动方程ｕｔｔ－αΔｕｔ＝ｆ（ｕ），（α＞０）的初边值问题，在一定条件下得到整体强解的存在唯一性，推广了文献［１］与［２］的结果。

In this paper we study the initial - boundary value problem of the strongly damped nonlinear wave equationutt- αΔut-Δu = f(u ), (α> 0) for n≥4, under some conditions obtainthe existence and uniqueness of the global strong solution.
