摘要
Within five years, the import quota for staple food will reach 21 million tons each year. What impact will be exerted by this factor on China’s agriculture, which is a important issue for researchers. The present text makes its arguments in six aspects. It is concluded that facing globalization, it is rational economically to cut back the production of disadvantaged food, to increase food import in a proper way, and to divert resources to more efficient production sectors.
