邓小平认为 ,社会主义要赢得与资本主义相比较的优势 ,就必须大胆吸收借鉴人类社会创造的一切文明成果 ,特别是资本主义的文明成果。他通过对历史经验的总结 ,认为吸收借鉴人类文明成果不仅是必要的 ,而且是可能的。他通过观察和分析世界总体特征和发展趋势 ,认识到现在的世界是开放的世界 ,而和平与发展成为时代主题 ,又为我们吸收借鉴人类文明成果提供了外部条件 ,中国的发展离不开世界。

According to Deng Xiaoping's theory,if socialism gains comparative superiority to capitalism,we must assimilate all the achievement of human civilization,especially that of capitalism.By summing up the historical experience he pointed out both the necessity and possibility of assimilating the achievement of human civilization.By observing and analysing the general features and developing trends of the world he realized that the world is opening and both peace and developement have become the main trend.This has provided the proper surroundings for us to assimilate the achievement of human civilization.The developemnt of China relates directly to other countries.
