论翻译单位的本质

ON THE ESSENCE OF TRANSLATION UNIT

探讨翻译单位研究的形式—语义途径和功能途径的不足之处 ,并指出翻译单位研究依托于传统语言学理论有着极大的局限性 ,最后论述了翻译单位的本质 。

This article is devoted to the discussion of the inadequacies exhibites in the research of translation unit from both a formal-semantic and functional point of view,resulting in the realization of the limitations of a traditional linguistic orientation in the investigation of this ares.In the later part of this article some remarks are focused on the essence of translation unit,a better understanding of which will help to avoid all kinds of tendencies seemingly said to be unacceptable in the practice of translation.
