在某种程度上 ,借助于互联网 ,中国有可能实现跳跃式的发展 ,赶上发达国家 ,或缩短与发达国家之间的距离 ,从而在增加综合国力的同时 ,使我们的文化真正强大起来。另一方面 ,由于互联网发展的超常速度和异常波动 ,由于世界网络传播的不平衡状态 ,也由于网络技术内含的科学主义和工具主义倾向 ,也给我国主流文化带来了种种挑战和困惑。因此 ,在关注互联网的发展历程、发展趋向的同时 ,思考它对我国主流文化的影响 ,就成了一个具有现实性和紧迫性的问题。

At some extent, with the progress of internet, our country will realize its leaping development and catch up with certain developed countries. So we can heighten our national power as well as strengthen our culture, which will has rich modern significance and national characteristic in the internet communication. Undoubtedly, due to the uncommon developing speed, unbalanced situation of internet and some other elements, our mainstream culture is facing diverse challenges and perplexities, some of them have become quite clear, others still remain hidden.
