摘要
在中国当代文学创作中，元小说手法较为集中地出现在马原等先锋派作家的作品中，是先锋作家暴露虚构、解构现实主义写作成规的话语策略之一。文章以马原的作品为例，论述了元小说的主要特点、功能，探讨了元小说在当代文学中的意义。文章认为元小说在结构方面的特点是打破框架，在意识方面的特点是自反性。它的主要功能就在于暴露虚构和质询成规。
In the contemporary Chinese literary creation. the writing method of meta-fiction, chiefly employed in the works of such avant-garde writers as Ma Yuan, etc, is one of the discourse strategies for the avant-garde writers to expose fictiveness and to deconstruct the writing convention of realism.This paper. in view of the works by Ma Yuan, strives to expound on the main features, functions of metafiction and probe into its significance in contemporary literature.
