江西省部分大中专学校性病艾滋病健康教育教师的艾滋病知识、态度调查分析

A Survey on AIDS Knowledge and Attitude among Health Education Teachers in Selected Universities and Secondary Spe-cialized Schools in Jiangxi Province

目的 了解江西省大中专学校艾滋病性病健康教育教师对艾滋病的知识态度。方法 于1999年12月对来自江西省56所大中专学校的艾滋病性病健康教育教师进行问卷调查,用EPi-Info软件进行统计分析。结果（1）对艾滋病的一般知识,回答正确率在80％以上,但对传播途径完全答对的人只有25％;对专业性较强的艾滋病知识如艾滋病的诊断标准只有10.4％的人能答出。（2）对于假如自己染上艾滋病,大多数人会正确求医,会处于情绪低落、紧张、恐惧和孤独中。（3）87.5％的人认为艾滋病病毒感染者可以和一般人一起上学或工作。（4）所有的教师都愿意进一步了解艾滋病的知识,96.4％的教师愿意做一名艾滋病性病健康教育教师,并在学校或当地开展艾滋病性病健康教育工作。结论 江西省部分大中专学校的艾滋病性病健康教育教师对艾滋病的知识了解不够全面和深入,有一定比例的教师对艾滋病有恐惧和歧视的心理,提示应该加强对学校艾滋病性病健康教育教师的专业培训工作。

Objective To find out the knowledge and attitude to AIDS in 56 school health education teachers in Jiangxi Province. Methods The questionaires as to AIDS knowledge and attitude for school health education teachers were distributed and collected. The data were analyzed by software Epi - Info. Results (1) More than eighty percent of the teachers surveyed had basic knowledge on AIDS. But only twenty five percent of them could correctly answer questions on the routes of AIDS/HIV transmission. Only ten point four percent of them such some difficult questions answered as the diagnosis of AIDS. (2) If they were themselves were infected with HIV, most of respondents would have gone to see a doctor properly, but would have been in low sprits and solitude, and become nervous and scared. (3) Eighty seven point five percent of them thought that HIV carriers could go to school or go to work. (4) All of them were willing to learn more about AIDS/ STD. Ninety six point four percent of them would like to be a health education teachers of AIDS/STD and would undertake health education activities in schools. Conclusion Most of school health education teachers failed to bave comprehensive or thorough knowledge of AIDS. Some teachers had fear and even discrimination against this fatal disease. Our findings suggest that the training for school health education teachers should be strengthened.
