Through the practices of the end dumping closure projects, it is recognized that the main hydraulic factors, which affect the difficulty in end dumping closure, are closure drop Z, discharge Q and water depth h. This paper introduces the main measures to lower these three factors on the basis of the end dumping closure in the Gezhouba Project, Three Gorges Project etc..
