介绍了一种基于Ｈ．３２３的多媒体会议系统的设计与实现，描述了该系统的主要功能、特点、所涉及的关键技术及在不同领域的应用。利用该系统可在局域网（ＬＡＮ）和广域网（ＷＡＮ）上进行点对点及多点间的高质量视频会议，并能通过功能扩充实现不同网络、不同用途的会议系统，满足各种场合的应用需求。

This paper introduces the design and realization of a multimedia conferencing system. Its function, key technologies and typical applications are described. With this conferencing system, point or multicast videoconferencing with high quality can be implemented on LAN and WAN. It can be used for various purposes through further extension of its function.
