文中概述了产品数据表达与交换标准化的发展过程，着重分析了基于ＳＴＥＰ产品数据交换接口的设计，为自行研制的可视化系统实现了基于ＳＴＥＰ中性文件的数据交换接口，将复杂形体的几何造型数据读入并在可视化系统内实现四面体剖分，在复杂数据场的分析和显示方面具有重要的应用价值。

STEP is an international standard for the computer-interpretable representation and exchange of product data. In this paper, the basic idea of data exchange through STEP neutral file among different systems is illustrated. According to this mechanism, a data exchange interface, which is based on STEP neutral file between system of CAD and system of visualization in scientific computing is designed and implemented. To test the interface, a complex modeling data of geometrical body is read into the system of visualization in scientific computing through it. The result data of transferred geometrical body is successfully used in anal- yzing and showing complicated data field.
