摘要
随着越来越多多点投递应用的出现 ,由于 Internet本身固有的异构性 ,分层多点投递将在 Internet上得到广泛应用 .这样 ,网络就面临着如何高效支持分层多点投递的问题 .为了解决这一问题 ,给出了一种支持分层多点投递的主动队列管理机制 L MRED.其贡献主要有两点 :1提出一种识别 Internet中分层多点投递会话的机制 ,这是实现 L MRED的基础 ;2对 RED进行改进 (改进后的 RED称为 L MRED) ,在报文随机丢弃的基础上实现优先级丢弃机制和预丢弃机制 .L MRED具有公平性、稳定性和快速响应网络拥塞等特点 ,可以更好地适应分层多点投递的要求 ,并最终改善应用性能 .
With increasing emergence of multicast applications, it is supposed that layered multicast would be put to more widespread use because of Internet intrinsic heterogeneity. Thus network faces a problem of how to support layered multicast effectively. To solve this problem, a new active queue management mechanism (LMRED) is put forward. There are two important contributions in the paper: ① a mechanism is provided to identify layered multicast sessions in Internet, which is the foundation of LMRED. ② RED is improved by integrating priority discarding mechanism and pre-discarding mechanism(improved RED is called LMRED). LMRED has many traits such as fairness, stability and fast response to network congestion. So it is more suitable to layered multicast and can ameliorate application performance definitely.
