On the Path Choice of Foreign Direct Investment by Chinese Firms to Western Europe

积极发展跨国经营，稳步推进“走出去”战略，是我国企业未来发展的重要方向之一。西欧是目前全球最大的经济体，也是对外直接投资最为活跃的地区。本文阐述了我国企业加强对西欧生产性直接投资的必要性，重点分析了对西欧投资的路径选择。

It is one of the important strategies for Chinese firms to develop transnational operations in the future. Western Europe is the biggest economy unit in the world and the most active region for FDI in-flow. This paper examines the necessity for Chinese firms to invest in manufacturing industries in Western Europe and analyses the path choice of their investment.
