In this paper,the developing course and the capability of a reagent for medium term preventing steel bar from corrosion are intruduced,this reagent has been tested on the rolling line in the No 1 Rolling Plant of Lianyuan Iron & Steel Group,a good result have been obtained.It only cost 0.47 yuan/m 2 to use this reagent for prevention steel bar from corrosion beyond three months out door.
