By analyzing on the problems existed in the EAF KSD electrode regulator and the equipment abort caused by the problem at the No.2 Steel_making Works of SISG, the methods and their own merits that frequency conversion of electrode regulator solved the present problem have been related, the system configuration of frequency conversion electrode regulator transformed has been introduced compendiously, and the effect and benefit after transformation have been summarized.
