This article introduces the East Asian studies in Harvard University on the basis of the author's experience, including the institutions and the activities relating to East Asian studies. The author thinks that the main reasons of Harvard's leading position in the field of East Asian studies overseas due to its strong atmosphere of academic researches, its brilliant faculty,its strict academic rulers, its superior research resources and its frequent international academic exchanges.
