加入世界贸易组织,中国高等教育面临的最大挑战是如何培养和开发人的创新能力。从高校培养高素质创新人才的必要性、高校如何培养高素质创新人才两个方面进行了探讨。并提出了面对“入世”的机遇与挑战,作为中国的高等教育,只有培养出大批高素质创新人才,才能适应中国加入WTO的需要,使我们国家和民族自立于世界之林。
